A THEATRE bar in Windsor is going cashless from today (July 7).
The Old Court, on St Leonards Road, has announced it will no longer accept cash in its bar but will still take cash at its box office.
This is because the bar is run by Windsor and Eton Brewery and its cashless policy is something new it has introduced across the business.

The brewery’s bank branch is closing in the town, making it more expensive for banking cash and getting change.
And the theatre said it was decided that it wasn’t worth the increased cost of doing business.
But the arts venue has confirmed it will still be taking notes and coins for its events at the box office to cater for more elderly visitors who prefer to use cash.
