The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Councillor Neil Knowles has been busy with his duties of welcoming Christmas to Windsor.
The Councillor has been posting frequently on social media to give the public some of the highlights he's experienced during the start of the seasonal festivities.
One such event that Councillor Knowles was such an integral part of was the turning on of the Christmas lights for Windsor town.
In a recent tweet detailing the event, the Councillor said: "Lovely evening turning on Windsor Christmas lights, fabulous turnout, all credit to Paul Roach and team and of course HM the King for the tree."
To commemorate the annual joy of turning on the Christmas lights, the Mayor posted a picture of himself and a number of other attendees posing with Father Christmas.
Councillor Knowles can be seen in the picture sitting next to Father Christmas in his red sleigh.
