Drivers in and around Slough will have 13 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 8pm January 16 to 6am July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 7 to 5, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm October 19 2022 to 6am July 5 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm November 21 2022 to 6am July 7 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 5 to junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm November 22 2022 to 6am July 7 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M4, from 8pm July 3 to 6am July 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 5, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slips for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 3 to 6am July 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 4 to 6am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 6, slip road closure for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 6 to 6am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 7 to 5, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 10pm July 10 to 5.30am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for HDDM's surveys.

• M4, from 8pm July 12 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 6 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M25, from 10pm July 15 to 5.30am July 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closure and link road closure for darinage works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M4, from 10pm July 17 to 5am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4b, Lane closures for technology works.

• A3113, from 10pm July 17 to 6am July 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise and clockwise Terminal five Spurs, link road and lane closures for resurfacing works, diversion via, junction 14 and back.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
