Windsor is to get a new Lebanese restaurant.
The old Dhinchak restaurant in Church Lane has been sold to the company Meejana, whose owners Edward Terry and Rita Cherfan already run Lebanese houses premises in Surrey and London.
Mr Terry said: “We have been searching for a site in Windsor for a while and are thrilled to be opening our third restaurant.”
It has been quite a journey.
He said: “It was 11 years ago that we acquired our first restaurant in Weybridge, followed by our restaurant in Kensington in 2014 and we are now delighted to be further expanding our portfolio. We plan to open in Windsor after a short period of refurbishment.”
The restaurant is on the historic cobbled streets just a few hundreds yards from the entrance to the castle.
Mr Terry said: “The kitchen is the engine room of the business and our chefs can’t wait to start cooking in it.”
The restaurant was sold off a leasehold asking price of £120,000.
