Here are our player ratings from Reading's 3-0 home win at home to Rotherham United.
Rafael - 7
Made a spectacular stop to deny Ladapo in the second half and commanded his area well throughout the game, claiming a lot of high balls into the area.
Tomas Esteves - 7
Battled tenaciously for every ball and pressed forward, creating space on the right wing. Stung the hands of the Rotherham 'keeper with a stunning effort in the second half.
Omar Richards - 7
Got forward really effectively and supported the attacks. Left a little bit of spare space in a defensive capacity and could've got a little tighter to his man.
Liam Moore - 9
Imperious once more from skipper. Led the defence brilliantly, his communication was first class and he positioned himself fantastically to maintain Reading's lead with a clearance off the line in the second half.
Michael Morrison - 8
Brave and commanding performance from Michael Morrison. Battled for every loose ball and didn't give Rotherham an inch as they chased the game in the second half.
Andy Rinomhota - 7
Stepped forward and out of his more familiar holding role after Reading's slow start and helped link the defence and attack.
Josh Laurent - 7
Was given a lot of responsibility as Rinomhota pressed further forward and limited Rotherham's midfield creativity effectively.
Ovie Ejaria - 6
Provided a moment of magic in the first half with a sumptuous delivery for Yakou Meite. Was a little quiet otherwise.
Alfa Semedo - 5
Didn't add much in a creative sense but did well to limit the time on the ball for the visitors.
Yakou Meite - 9
Opened the scoring with a tidy finish after Reading were dominated in the first half and scored a goal that'll be remembered for years in the second half. Won a lot more than he lost in the air.
George Puscas - 4
A very quiet afternoon for Puscas who struggled to make any real impact in the lone forward role.
SUBS
Michael Olise - 8
Picked up an assist for the second goal and showed incredible skill as he nearly caught out Blackman with a brilliant effort from a long range free-kick.
Lucas Joao - 7
Added to his goal tally with a late penalty which he did brilliantly to win. Pressed high up and helped Reading secure the win.
Tom McIntyre - 5
Added extra steel after a short cameo.
