Reading Women will become the first side in the Women's Super League to play at the same stadium as their male counterparts, it has been announced.

Kelly Chambers' side will groundshare with Bowen's first-team squad from next season, returning to Berkshire after playing their home games at Adams Park in Wycombe.

The Reading FC Women first team manager told BBC South Today: "We have always wanted to be in Reading and the plan for next season is we will be there.

"We've played there a few times this season and in previous ones and it will be a great way to build the fanbase.

"It's a really accessible ground and I think we'd get really good support there."

The side were in fifth place in the top tier, two points behind Manchester United, when the season was cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
