FC HOLYPORT Hawks edged out Maidenhead Warriors as the second set of development games got under way in the Thames Valley Development League on Sunday.

Maidenhead played extremely well in the first half and took the lead through Robert Hern, but the Hawks came storming back in the second period and scored twice to seal the points in the Under 11s Group Four fixture.

Taplow United won 2-0 at Golden Eagles in Group One to gain some revenge for defeat in the previous two matches between the sides.

Delaford Colts U11s were beaten 3-0 by Golden Eagles Flyers in a development game.

The Eagles got off to a flying start with an excellent goal from MMoloki Chiwiyu and a great assist from Kobey Muller. Chiwiyu added two more goals later in the first half to complete his hat-trick.

Despite going down to eight players at half-time Golden Eagles defended their lead to record a convincing win.

There was a top-of-the-table clash in Division One between Chalfont Saints Vipers and Explorers FC Reds in the U12s age group. Explorers edged the game 2-1 and so win the division by three points over the Vipers and Townmead Youth.
