IN THE U12s Division 1, a battle between the two Chalfont Saints sides saw the Vipers come out on top, as the Pythons fell to a 6-2 defeat, writes Cameron Temple.

Elsewhere in the division, Townmead Youth secured a narrow 2-1 victory away to FC Explorers.

In Division 2, the Langley derby saw Langley FC Youth beat Langley Hornets 2-0. Redkore Reds thrashed Frontline 9-0.

In the U11s Development competition, in a top-of-the-table clash in Group 3, Burnham Junior Sabres Whites maintained their 100% start to the season with an 8-0 win over a slow starting Golden Eagles Flyers.

In group 1, a brace for Daniel Carty and a goal apiece for Gabbie Cardoso and Tudor Moraru helped the Golden Eagles u11s onto a hard-fought draw with Chalfont saints in a game filled with late drama between the two table-toppers. This result means that the two teams finish top equal.

In the U10’s competition, Marish Wizards Whites lost to Slough Town Junior. In blustery conditions, Slough Town dominated the first half but Marish Wizards recovered and redeemed themselves after the break.

In the Wycombe League Golden Eagles U14 hosted Totteridge. In an exciting game, a brace from Sam Hopkins and a goal from Zayd Ahmed spurred the Golden Eagles on to a 3-0 first half league. With Totteridge having fought back to 3-3 after the break, a late hattrick securing goal from Sam Hopkins dashed any hopes of a comeback and left the Eagles victorious.
