KS GRYF have become the first team from the East Berkshire Football League to reach the quarter-final in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup this season, writes Rob Stevens.

The Premier Division club won 2-1 at FC Imaan Lions from the Thames Valley League in the last 16 on Saturday.

Slough Heating Laurencians Reserves exited the county cup following their 2-1 defeat at home to Thatcham Town Development.

Singh Sabha progressed into the semi-final of the High Wycombe Junior Challenge Cup after a 4-1 victory at Prestwood Reserves thanks to a brace from man-of-the-match Umar Riaz plus goals from Sukh Hunjan and Raj.

Sabha will meet either FC Beaconsfield or Burnham Village in the semi-final of the competition in the New Year.

FC Beaconsfield reached the last eight with an 8-4 win at Phoenix Old Boys on Saturday.

Burnham Village made progress in the Maidenhead Norfolkian Reserve Cup after a 6-2 win at Hype Train in round one.
