BURNHAM saw their three-match winning streak in the Hellenic League Premier Division come to an end after a 1-0 defeat against Lydney Town on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

A first-half goal from Keelan Maguire-Hamblett was enough for the visitors to secure all three points at The Gore.

The result leaves Burnham in 15th position in the table ahead of a short trip to rivals Windsor on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Windsor saw their match at Brimscombe & Thrupp postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at The Meadow on Saturday.

Holyport moved up to fourth position in Division One East following their 3-0 win against Woodley United at Summerleaze.

A goal from Alan Ackerman gave Port the lead heading into the break, before Fabian Driffill and Ackerman struck in the second half.

Holyport make the trip to Thame Rangers on Wednesday night (7.45pm).

Chalvey Sports stand in fifth place in the table after a 1-1 draw at Marlow United.

A goal from Conner Shingleston gave The Stabmonks the lead inside nine minutes at The Alfred Davis Memorial Ground, but Alfie Lucas equalised for Marlow two minutes before the break.

Chalvey return to Arbour Park for the visit of Didcot Town Development this Saturday (3pm).

Langley did not have a fixture to fulfil last weekend but return to action when Wokingham & Emmbrook make the trip to Summerleaze Village on Tuesday (7.45pm).
