A CONSISTENT theme carried across all the games in Division Four of the Maidenhead District Netball League at Kidwells Park on Wednesday.
Leads were taken in the first quarter, maintained and then extended throughout the match to the final whistle.
Margaritas are a newly-formed team and remain undefeated in a great start to the new season after securing a 33-15 win against Blue Magnets 2 on court one.
Bumblebees converted at each shooting opportunity they had but suffered a 39-16 defeat to Holidays on court two.
There was a slightly closer game between The Crew and Dean Dreamers, with an evenly-matched centre court. Dreamers however had a stronger defence and emerged victorious 30-20.
Long-standing Maidenhead league team, Red Rockets, met new-to-the-league Aftershocks. Despite their best efforts, Aftershocks could not keep up with their more established opponents and lost 42-7.
Vixens are also a new team this season and took on league leaders Rubies in midweek. Vixens are slowly finding their feet in the division but were not a match for the table toppers in a 38-11 defeat.
With four teams currently at the top of the league table with matching points, only separated by goal difference, Division Four could be very close this season.
