NEW WINDSOR manager Mark Cooper had plenty of reason to celebrate after his first match in charge ended in a 5-0 win against Thame Rangers in the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup on Tuesday, writes Rob Stevens.

Dylan Ive was the star on show with his four-goal haul, with new signing Ryan Debattista also on target in the cup tie at Stag Meadow.

Windsor return to action in the Hellenic League Premier Division with a visit to Stag Meadow from Shrivenham this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham exited the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup this season after a 2-1 defeat on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time at Binfield in the preliminary round on Monday.

The Blues took the lead with a goal six minutes into the second half at Hill Farm Lane, before Jemel Johnson equalised for Binfield two minutes into time added on.

Binfield keeper Joe Williams then saved four Burnham spot-kicks to send his side into the next round of the county cup.

Langley bowed out of the Floodlit Cup following their 4-0 defeat against league rivals Risborough Rangers.

Kyle Faulkner bagged a brace in the cup tie at Summerleaze with further goals from Davis Haule and Brian Haule.
