THE Windsor Great Park KLV team continued their successful run after beating Desborough C 64-36 to keep them top of the league.

Windsor

won on two rinks and took eight points, with the top rink skipped by Ron Willett and including Roy Humphries and Derek Corderoy.

The ladies had a close Royal Shield match at rivals Windsor & Eton that went to the wire. Pam Simms (skip), Angela Willett and Celia Pittman fought to the last bowl to secure a draw. The team came away with four points.

The ladies also had a good 51-44 home win against Chertsey with Ann Patton, Pat Yates and skip Clare Beahan leading the charge.

mixed teams had yet more luck when playing Burnham at home and winning 102-75. The top rink went to skip Andy Watson with Angela Willet and Sandra Jones.

The Great Park entertained Hurst in a mixed triples where the hosts pipped their visitors by a single shot on Sunday. Top rink honours went to skip Pam Simms, with Peter Simms and Yates.

Skip Ron Willett and his team, who were the last rink on the green, turned a deficit into a win. They were 13-10 down put picked up five shots to go 15-13 ahead.
