SLOUGH Town joint-managers Jon Underwood and Neil Baker scooped the National League South Manager of the Month award for March.
The award came after an unbeaten month for the Rebels, where they took 11 points from a possible 15 which included a win at title-chasing Woking.
Slough began March with a narrow win against Hemel Hempstead Town, before fighting back from two goals behind to draw at promotion-chasing Concord Rangers.
The Rebels then beat Billericay Town at Arbour Park before toppling former league leaders Woking and then sharing the spoils with St Albans City.
Baker told the Observer: “It’s always nice to win this type of thing but in reality it should be for the whole club, not just us and the players but everyone that helps out in their own way.
“Credit to the players however because they could have wound down toward the end of the season but they haven’t done that and are now just five points outside the play-offs.
“We’re now pushing for the play-offs and, although it’s just a glimmer of hope, there’s still that little chance and you never know.
“We want to win our final four games and keep our season alive for a long as possible.”
GEORGE Wells was called up by England C team manager Paul Fairclough to the FA Representative team that took on Bedfordshire FA at Luton Town on Tuesday.
Baker sand: “It was a chance for Paul to look at one or two players for a possible England C call-up.
“It was a great experience for George at a good age and any chance to pull on the Three Lions is fantastic.
“He managed to play 90 minutes and did well by all accounts, so I’m pleased he's getting the recognition.”
"George is fantastic going forward but we need him to keep his head down, work hard over the summer and come back fighting for next season to push up the leagues."
