WINDSOR faced Scotch in the final round of fixtures in the Maidenhead District Netball League and knew a win would see them retain their Premier Division crown on Monday.

The first half started with an intensity that unfortunately Scotch could not match and at half-time

Windsor

led 23-9.

Scotch rallied in the third quarter and drew the period with 10 goals apiece, but it was not enough and Windsor finished the match with a 46-26 win.

Business Moves had one last chance to win their game at Kidwells Park and hope that Windsor would slip up in order fro them to take the title.

However, they faced an on-fire Pandair who stormed out to a 14-3 lead at the first whistle. Business Moves rallied to reduce the deficit in the second period but Pandair held on and took the win 34-25.

Blues Swifts took on Mavericks in a tightly-contested match. The Swifts tried to pull ahead but great shooting from the Mavericks meant they were always in touch.

The scores were level at 26-26 at the end of the third quarter.

Swifts put their foot down in the final period, knowing anything but a win would drop them a place in the table, and good game management saw them victorious 40-36.

B52's beat Phoenix Pinkz in a highly-entertaining final game of the season. B52's pulled out to a 13-4 lead after the first quarter.

Phoenix changed their tactics for the second period and stormed back to take the quarter and lead the match 19-18.

B52s then came back fighting to take the game 37-28.
