WINDSOR ladies continue to pile on the pressure on the top three following a terrific 3-1 home win against Sonning 3s on Saturday.

Captain Freya Hayter boosted team confidence after coolly converting a textbook penalty flick, before Laura Hayes added a second from a well-worked penalty corner.

Maxine Bonnage made it three after Sally Khoury retrieved the ball from a short corner that missed the mark. She slipped the ball to Bonnage, who drilled it in.

Sonning, who are facing relegation from Division One, scored a consolation goal.

to fourth place with two games in hand compared with Oxford University 3s, who are one place above and five points ahead.

The team take on Amersham & Chalfont 3s at home this Saturday.

Windsor men dropped a vital three points after losing 4-0 away to top-of-the-table Oxford University 3s last weekend.

The loss means Windsor missed the chance to go second and remain third in Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division Two.

The team host Oxford 3s this Saturday.

The Windsor second team beat Leighton Buzzard 2s 4-1 at home to make a claim for promotion from Division Five.

Currently on the same points as leaders Marlow 4s, only goal difference separates them and Windsor will look to shore up their position when travelling to West Hampstead 6s this Saturday.

Windsor 3s were thumped 9-0 at home against Milton Keynes 4s and hope to reverse their fortunes in Division Six when making the trip to Wycombe 4s on Saturday.
