THREE Maidenhead Athletics Club members were among the 13,000 in London for the Vitality Big Half Marathon on Sunday.
The gusting winds made it a bit challenging but Jon Regan was first home for the club with another personal best time of one hour, 14 minutes and 36 seconds (01:14.36). He ran a solid 9.32 minute-per-mile pace.
Lesley Kernaghan finished in 02:06.32 and Kathryn Hall was not far behind with a time of 02:14.44.
Marc Dellasega (pictured) travelled to the iconic city of Barcelona to take part in the marathon on Sunday.
The crowds were lively and encouraging, plus the course was filled with beautiful architecture and music that kept runners entertained.
Dellasega was happy to get a personal best with a finishing time of 03:38.12.
There were plenty of water stops and energy supplements. Dellasega finished off by getting some tasty Tapas and Paella.
