WINDSOR made it four wins on the bounce in the Hellenic Premier Division after a 2-1 victory against Ardley United on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

gave the home side a narrow lead heading into the break at Stag Meadow.

Ardley equalised through Connor Harris midway through the second half, but

Windsor

secured all three points when veteran striker Barry Hayes netted with seven minutes remaining.

The win means Windsor are now in ninth position in the league table ahead of a visit to Stag Meadow from Flackwell Heath on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Windsor turn their attention to the Hellenic League Challenge Cup and a semi-finals tie at Almondsbury from Division One West this Saturday (3pm).

Virginia Water are now three matches without a win in the league following their 2-1 defeat at Brimscombe & Thrupp last weekend.

The home team doubled their advantage through Ashley Caldwell on the hour mark before Adam McNamara pulled a goal back for the Waters late on.
