SINGH Sabha slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Maidenhead Crown in Division One of the Thames Valley Sunday League.

Sabha had won the two previous games between the sides this season, but it was Crown who started brighter to secure a 2-0 half-time lead.

The visitors pulled a goal back through Pritpal Raju before Crown scored again to make it 3-1.

Sabha scored again late on through Hasan Mahmood, but it was too little, too late as Crown got the win.

Basement side Slough United suffered a 12th defeat in 12 games as they went down 3-1 at Maidenhead Nomads, while leaders Langley Galaxy drew 2-2 with Datchet Village.

Division Two cellar dwellers Maidenhead Cosmos picked up a point from their 3-3 draw with AFC Phoenix.

In Division Three, table-toppers Hedgerley smashed SL Raiders 6-2, while Burnham Garibaldi beat Maidenhead Nomads 3rds 3-1.

Wexham Park Hospital belied their position at the foot of the Division Four table, easing past Shooting Staines 5-0.

FC Langley Lions annihilated Datchet Village 3rd 11-1 in the quarter-final of the Roy Lester Memorial Cup, while Microblast 17 won 3-0 against FC Bentons/LA Micro in the last eight of the Bob Smith Trophy.

AFC Phoenix Reserves will play FC Dionysus in the final of the League Shield, the two sides winning their semi-finals 2-1 and 4-1 against Eutectic FC and Langley Village respectively.
