WINDSOR have suffered a first defeat in six matches in all competitions after losing 2-0 at Wantage Town in the Hellenic Premier Division on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

A goal from Jack Dunmall gave Wantage the lead inside the first minute at Alfredian Park, before Dan Sadler secured all three points with a strike in the 48th minute.

The defeat, a first for Windsor since losing to Virginia Water on Boxing Day, sees them remain in 13th position in the league table.

Windsor turn their attention to the FA Vase and a fifth round tie away at Biggleswade from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division this Sunday (3pm).

Virginia Water suffered a first defeat in six league matches when losing 1-0 to Shrivenham on Saturday.

A goal in the first-half from Sam Ockwell was the difference between the two teams at Stag Meadow.

The Waters remain in 10th position in the league table ahead of a visit to Stag Meadow from Holmer Green on Tuesday (7.45pm), before making the trip to Fairford Town this Saturday (3pm).

Holyport will not retain the Hellenic Supplementary Cup this season following their 4-0 second round defeat at Malmesbury Victoria on Saturday.

A Jamie Packer brace plus a strike from Sam Parker gave Malmesbury from Division One West a clear lead heading into the break at the Flying Monk Ground, before Josh Hughes added a fourth goal late on in the tie.

Port turn their attention to the Hellenic Floodlit Cup and a visit to Summerleaze from Thame Rangers on Tuesday (7.45pm).
