REAL Milan have been eliminated from the FA Sunday Cup this season after a 7-3 defeat against Club Lewsey.

Luton-based Club Lewsey proved too strong and completely out-played their opponents in front of over 100 spectators at Arbour Park.

Milan had reached the last-32 in the competition last season, and made an unbeaten start to the new campaign, but it was the visitors that took the lead.

The home side failed to clear a cross and the ball was poked home by a midfielder whose shot sneaked in off the post.

Club Lewsey had numerous non-league players in their side and one of those, BJ Christie, doubled the advantage with a header from a free-kick.

As Real Milan tried to find a rhythm to their play, it was halted by another goal for the away team. Keeper Hassan Hussain made a fine save but the rebound was tucked home.

Milan conceded again just before the break as the ball was tucked in from close range.

The hosts came out stronger after some harsh words at the break and their play was finally rewarded as substitute Kane Jones crossed for debutant Jack Banks to head home.

The goal allowed the Milan supporters to find their voice, but it was short lived as Club Lewsey scored with the goal of the game when centre back Ryan Frater fired a volley into the top corner from 25-yards.

The home side conceded once more as sloppy play at the back allowed a strike to poke home, before Club Lewsey added a seventh goal thanks to a penalty from Christie.

Real Milan kept on going and pulled a goal back with a good team move. Daniel Sharp played a ball over the top to Jones, who crossed first time for substitute Cheyenne Cripps to tuck home.

Milan got another moments later when Paolo Cicero got his first goal for the club with a smart finish from outside the box. He latched onto a Cripps pass after more good work from Jones again.

Real Milan return to action in Division One of the Thames Valley Sunday League with a home match against Singh Sabha this weekend (10.30am).
