WINDSOR have now played 560 minutes of football without conceding a goal this season after a 1-0 win away at Abingdon United on Saturday.

A goal from full-back Jamie Di Guiseppe on 87 minutes was the difference between the two sides at Northcourt Road.

It is a sixth consecutive clean sheet for Windsor and means they have not conceded a goal since the defeat to Ascot United over five weeks ago.

The win leaves Windsor in seventh position in the table Hellenic Premier Division with 24 points from their opening 15 matches.

Windsor turn their attention to the Hellenic League Challenge Cup and a home fourth round tie against Moreton Rangers from Division Two West this Saturday (3pm).

Virginia Water are now three matches without a win in the Premier Division following their 3-2 defeat against Lydney Town at Stag Meadow.

The Waters took the lead through a Jake Baker penalty, but Declan Morley-Lyne equalised for the visitors before the break.

A goal from Liam Whyte put the home side back in front after half-time, but both Jordi Sheen and Morley-Lyne scored inside the closing stages for Lydney, the winner coming in the third minute of time added on.

The defeat leaves Virginia Water in 15th position in the league table ahead of a trip to Longlevens this Saturday (3pm).

Burnham have made progress into the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy quarter-finals this season after a 9-1 win against Wrightchoice and Unity CSA at The Gore.

The Blues host Penn & Tylers Green in the Hellenic Subsidiary Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm), before a return to action in Division One East at home to Milton United this Saturday (3pm).
