WINDSOR, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) Athletics Club athletes have competed for their county in the South of England Under 15/20 Champions in Oxford.

Alex Haydock-Wilson was the busiest athlete on display contesting the 100m, 200m and 400m.

He was a comfortable winner in the 400m in 48.73 seconds (secs) and took silver in the 200m with a new personal best time of 22.03secs. His foray in the 100m resulted in a fourth place finish in 11.19secs.

Kaudia Walas was another to grab a silver medal in the U20 triple jump with a leap of 11.13m.

Rachel Okoro dabbled in the trip jump event and it paid dividends again when she won gold in the U15 event. She also claimed a silver medal in the long jump with 5.18m.

Jasmine Young grabbed a bronze medal in the 1,500m with four minutes and 51.09 seconds (4:51.09).

Sam Challis finished in fourth position in the U20 long jump with 6.63m.

Hannah Jones was fifth in the U20 100m on 12.44secs, while Liliana Burn claimed the same position in the U15 hammer with 39.23m.
