BOYNE Hill are now unbeaten in five matches in Division One after an 81-run home win against North Maidenhead on Saturday.

North Maidenhead won the toss and chose to field first with Boyne Hill making 252 runs all out off 49.4 overs.

Number six Warren Miller top-scored with 106 runs, which included 15 boundaries and a maximum.

Captain Ollie Clayson made 51 and the pair put on 103 for the fifth wicket, before Miller and Tom Mellor (4) added 55 in an eighth-wicket stand.

Faizan Shamsi was the pick of the North Maidenhead bowlers with figures of 5-33 from 6.4 overs.

The visitors managed 171 runs all out off 34.2 overs in response and for a defeat which leaves them in eighth position in the league table.

Opening batsman Saeed Bukhari top-scored with 59 runs, which included seven boundaries and two maximums, plus a 52-run fifth-wicket partnership with Sahaan John (17).

Ziya Mohamed was the best of the Boyne Hill bowlers with figures of 5-32 from 8.2 overs.

Boyne Hill remain fifth in the table and head to Gerrards Cross this Saturday (12.30pm), while North Maidenhead welcome Reading to Summerleaze.
