A man in his thirties has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following an attack in Slough.

The incident happened at around 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 3 in the Elmwood Road area.

Police have reassured residents that they believe this to be an isolated incident and that no further risks to the public have been identified.

Detective Inspector Annabelle Palmer, of Slough CID, said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries into this shocking incident.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident or who has dash-cam, doorbell or phone footage from the area around the time that it happened, to please get in touch.

The victim was left in the road after being attacked and was hospitalised. He currently remains in hospital.
