AS THE weather warms up and more of us are encouraged to get back out in the garden, a number of local garden centres are inviting visitors to join their Spring hanging baskets workshops.

Hillier Garden Centres regularly holds a host of workshops from the exceptionally popular wreath-making workshops through to hanging baskets, terrarium containers, and more.

The latest in the line up is the Spring workshop where visitors will be creating hanging baskets or planted containers - plus revelling in a little cream tea along the way also.

Slough Observer: Hanging basket workshop with Hillier Garden Centres

Throughout May, several Berkshire centres will be hosting the hands-on workshops where there will be helpful tips and tricks from plant experts, plus all the materials you need to brighten up your garden this Spring.

At the event, you can decide between one of three options: create two beautiful hanging baskets displays; create two stunning planted containers or – if you’re feeling particularly daring – create one of each!

Sessions - costing £50 per person - last for approximately two hours and include a break with a Hillier cream tea.
