A property in Padiham has been targeted once again, just weeks after racist graffiti “no w**s” was written on the front door in marker pen.
Windows of the property, in High Street, have been smashed and the front door has been damaged.
Pictures show three holes in the front door and several windows have been put through.
Police were called to the property on March 21 and say investigations are ongoing.
It is the second time this year the property has been targeted. In February, vandals caused £4,000 worth of damage. Windows were smashed and “no w**s” was written on the door.
Darren McNeill, director and founder of The Finnigan-McNeill Property Group, is managing agent of the property. It is owned by a private landlord.
He says no one is allowed to move in until the issue has been resolved and the property is safe and secure.
At the time Darren said: “The irony is that the people moving into the property were Caucasian, not that this should matter, so why this property has been targeted by someone is beyond us.”
A police spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of criminal damage at 10.15am on March 21.
“We are investigating the report, and anyone with information that may assist our enquiries can contact us on 101 quoting log 0378 of March 21.”
