A man has been jailed for attacking two police officers in Slough.
Sean Carbo, 35, of no fixed abode, indicated guilty pleas on two counts of assaulting an emergency worker in the exercise of their duty.
These were in relation to an incident in December last year, in which he beat two female officers.
In addition, Carbo accepted a charge of failing to surrender himself into police custody in February.
At Reading Magistrates' Court on March 8, the defendant was jailed for a total of eight months.
Justifying their decision to impose a custodial sentence, magistrates described the attack as "unprovoked" and "of a serious nature."
