Drivers in and around Slough will have nine road closures to watch out for this week.

Two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 8pm January 13 to 6am January 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 6 to junction 5, carriageway closure for structures inspection.

• M4, from 8pm October 14 2022 to 6am January 15 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 5 to junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm December 8 2023 to 6am January 20 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 5, slip road and lane closures for inspection work.

• M4, from 8pm October 19 2023 to 6am January 27 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 6 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm November 10 2023 to 6am January 31 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 6, slip road closure for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm November 10 2023 to 6am January 31 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 12 2023 to 6am February 4 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 6 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 10pm January 15 to 6am January 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 15 to junction 13, carriageway closure including slip road closures for testing works, diversion via National Highways and TFL roads.

• M4, from 10pm January 20 to 5.30am January 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to junction 4B, Lane closures for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
