A suspicious ‘red substance’ spotted at a Slough bus stop prompted investigations by police after being circulated on social media.
Members of the public first noticed the red splatter on Bath Road in Slough, close to the junction with Montem Lane.
Speculations about its origin have been circulating online after the picture was shared on Friday, October 13.
A spokesman from Thames Valley Police said: “We have conducted an investigation and established where the substance has come from.
"We can confirm there were no criminal offences and it was as a result of a medical episode. We are grateful for the members of the public who reported this to us directly."
