A major retailer is getting ready to launch in Slough as their sign goes up.
Aldi, which is getting ready to open on the Farnham Road is being watched by eagle-eyed residents as the store has now pushed their opening date back twice.
Originally set to open in Spring, the opening was pushed back until September, when the store announced that they needed another month to prepare for the opening.
Now the Aldi sign has been mounted on the building and workmen can be seen going in and out of the sliding entry doors.
The fencing around the construction site has begun to be stripped away revealing a footpath and parking spaces.
A builder on the site said that the expected opening date is October 5 - however Aldi have been quick to debunk this.
Residents have now been left speculating whether traffic concerns are going to cause Aldi to suspend their opening.
Previously Aldi has said their 100 car parking spaces shared with Poundland and Pets At Home will be sufficient.
However, residents have shared their fears that it will not be enough and the area will become gridlocked with the entry and exit on and off the busy Edinburgh Avenue and Farnham Road junction.
