A luxury broker from Slough has appeared in BBC One's Crazy Rich Agents.

Mike Love, 30, from Langley can be seen selling "dream homes" in an episode of the property show which aired on August 6 and can be found on BBC iPlayer.

Having been brought up in Slough, Mike has shared his eagerness to represent the area and highlight the potential many people like him possess in the luxury property market.

Mike said: "By being on the show I wanted to show people that regardless of what background you are from - whether you are born in the luxury space, whether you are born in money or not in money, you are very much capable of achieving what it is you put your mind to.

"I want people to be able to go out there and possess confidence and charisma to break the status quo and achieve the highest levels of success they possibly can."

Mike has been working with Nest Seekers, a luxury residential and commercial brokerage firm, for three years, who organised his appearance on Crazy Rich Agents.

"They wanted to highlight my career as an estate agent - especially me coming in as a rookie, a person who had never been an estate agent before," Mike said.

Mike first became an estate agent in 2020 after a career jump from producing music.

He described his journey into real estate as a "mistake". "It wasn't by design, it wasn't by plan."

Mike was in a pub when he overheard someone's troubles with selling a property which was on the market for a year.

After asking the owner if he could take over the sale, Mike sold the property in 14 days using various marketing techniques - developed through the music industry.

"I managed to make a £20,000 commission," he said.

Mike now works in the residential space in the luxury market but says he doesn't discriminate and is open to helping anyone.

Speaking on the local property scene, Mike said: "Property prices have adjusted to fit the current situation. But with the right strategy and selling strategies, properties are still selling."

Locally Mike has sold properties in Datchet, Langley and Ascot.
