DRIVERS in and around Slough and Maidenhead will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

Roadworks on the M4 Westbound are due to start on August 8 to August 9, between Junction 8/9 (Maidenhead) and Junction 10 (near Winnersh and Wokingham).

A lane closure is required for carriageway reconstruction works.

M4 Eastbound from Junction 11 (Whitley) to Junction 10 will also have lane closures from August 10 to 12, and again from August 16 to 18.

This is so National Highways can carry out structure inspections on the carriageway.

Later in the year, from September 11 to September 22, M4 Junction 10 will be closed in both directions for resurfacing works.
