LANGLEY Park outdoor theatre has announced a summer line up of productions that are taking to the stage in the country park.

Multi award-nominated Immersion Theatre will be performing two shows in Langley Park’s outdoor theatre this summer – The Wizard of Oz and William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

The theatre group will be performing ‘a brand-new adaptation’ of the Wizard of Oz on Thursday, July 27 from 5pm.

The ‘magical open-air musical’ is suitable for children aged four plus and will run until 7.15pm.

On Friday, July 28, Immersion Theatre will perform Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in an “interactive and fun” night.

Described as a "laugh-a-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s riotous comedy", the performance will see Shakespeare's work come to life in Langley Park country park.

The performance will run from 6.30pm and is suitable for older children and adults.

Immersion Theatre, launched in 2010, puts on shows in Off-West End venues where "distinctive concepts and fearless re-workings of predominantly classic texts" quickly earned them a "reputation as one of London’s most exciting and innovative theatre companies."

There will be light refreshments available to purchase at both events.
