Residents of Bracknell and Wokingham have been advised of changes to their bin collections during the upcoming festive period.

There will be changes to collection days over Christmas and New Year across both boroughs to allow workers to enjoy time with their families. Food, recycling and refuse collections will resume as normal from Monday, January 2.

Collections in both Bracknell and Wokingham will be a day later than usual in the week after Christmas Day.

Garden waste collections for the borough will follow the same schedule outlined above.

From December 26, there will be no garden waste collections in Bracknell as the vehicles will be helping with the additional seasonal waste and recycling.

Christmas Trees will be collected as garden waste by both councils if they are cut up and put in the brown bin or a council garden waste sack.
