A home where 5,000 year old relic was discovered has been sold for £1.5m near Reading.

Mulberry Cottage is steeped in history, dating back to the 16th century itself on a plot of land in Exlade Street first written about in 1241.

A Neolithic flit tranchet was discovered in the garden of the cottage dating back to 3,000 BC, which is now displayed in Reading Museum.
