The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching and locals in Slough and Windsor are invited to head down to their local football club or pub to watch matches for free.

Here is a list of local hotspots that will be showing the matches from November 20 to December 18.

Powerleague Slough:

Locals are invited to head over to Powerleague Slough on Ragstone Road to watch matches for free with no booking required.

There will be a selection of food and drink on offer, with fans from all corners of the community encouraged to unite and celebrate their team playing this World Cup.

Powerleague plans to show all World Cup matches.

Ye Olde Swan:

The Slough sports pub located on Burnham High Street will be showing the World Cup.

Organisers say "We're delighted to be able to bring you every moment of football action live from Ye Olde Swan."

Carpenter's Arms:

Located on Market Street in Windsor, the Carpenter's Arms are inviting the public to join the kick-off at the pub.

Organisers say "Soak up the atmosphere while enjoying our great range of drinks, including cask ale and premium gin. With our classic pub menu, you won't go hungry either – even if things go into extra time."

The Corner House Pub:

Situated on Sheet Street in Windsor, the pub boasts an 'ultimate live sports experience, 7 days a week, HD screens, from every angle.

The pub sells cask and kegs from large and independent breweries, 'world class' cocktails, a seasonal and inspired food menu plus weekday offers.
