A TESCO Express could soon move into the former Monsoon store in Maidenhead town centre.
The supermarket giant has applied for a new premises licence to set up shop at the empty outlet in the High Street.

Maidenhead’s Monsoon store was one of 35 stores to close in 2020 after parent company Monsoon Accessorize entered into administration.
Tesco Express wants to sell indoor late-night refreshments seven days a week for one hour after 11pm.

It also wants to sell alcohol off the premises from Monday to Sunday, 6am to midnight.
Tesco Express will be one of the many new stores and restaurants that have or will be opening in the town centre.
Craft beer establishment a Hoppy place and Anytime Fitness at the Watermark site in St Ives Road opened up earlier this earlier as well as restaurant Bardo Lounge, Wenzel, Grilled Grub, and Vietnamese eatery Vina Baguette.
