A CARE home in Langley welcomed family and friends to enjoy its summer garden party.

Langley Haven Care Home, Rambler Lane, hosted the event on Saturday, August 6 and residents and staff were treated to a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Slough.

One of the homes directors spent the day chatting to family members, staff, and residents and made a speech to thank everyone for coming.

Slough Observer:

People enjoyed a BBQ, entertainment including 'Bus Pass to Broadway', a raffle which was fundraising for a digital rainbow table, and craft making.

Residents made lavender bags, which were being sold on the day.

Manager Uddhav Bhatta said: "It was a pleasure to be able to gather so many people together, which we have not been able to do for the past two years, but all remained mindful and followed current infection control policies strictly."
