A STAIRWAY in Slough’s shopping centre is set to get a creative makeover.

The stairs in the Queensmere Observatory will be transformed to illustrate the history of the town.

Marinela, from the Art Classes Group, said the proposed designs will take people through various years of Slough, its landmarks and locations and delve into Herschel and his astrology.

She explained: “Our vision is to bring the history theme of Slough in the form of murals using our team skills and collaborate with young artists and volunteers from Slough to get involved.

“Our aim is to present to the people of Slough the history and present where they can walk, talk with others and enjoy the viewing at the same time.”

Art Classes Group runs workshops, online learning, class and parties for children and adults to get creative.
