A SUPERMARKET chain is set to open a new branch in Slough next year.
Aldi has confirmed it will be welcoming customers to its site on Farnham Road next spring.
It is currently recruiting for a range of vacancies, which are listed on the Aldi website.
A spokesperson for Aldi said: "Aldi are currently recruiting for a range of positions for a new store which is due to open on Farnham Road in Spring next year."
Earlier this year, Sainsbury's on Farnham Road officially closed to the public on Saturday, April 30.
And there are rumours the new Aldi could move into that unit but SEGRO hasn't confirmed what store will be taking over that building yet.
A SEGRO spokesperson, said: "Sainsburys has now vacated its facility on Farnham Road.
"We are in discussions with third parties regarding the future of the site, however, no final decisions have been made."
