A NEW fitness centre is set to open in the heart of Windsor this summer.

David and Lisa Palmer, of Windsor, said they are “thrilled” to be opening a second Gas Station Fitness and Nutrition facility in the area.

The centre will be setting up in one of the newly refurbished railway Arches on Alma Road, next to Alexandra Gardens.

The pair have already been running a site on the Slough Trading Estate for the past seven years.

Gas Station Fitness and Nutrition will officially welcome new members in July.

Mr Palmer said: "Lisa and I are delighted to expand our family business to the heart of Windsor this Summer.

"As local residents ourselves, we know that many of the Arches have been unoccupied for a number of years and we are so excited to finally have the opportunity to renovate 29-30 The Arches, and introduce our award-winning fitness and wellness brand to the area.

"For years we have been approached by Windsor friends and local businesses asking for us to open a site in Windsor and we are delighted to announce it's finally arrived."

The gym is sharing regular updates on its social media to show the progress the new site is making.
