POLICE are warning drivers of a rise in the theft of cars in Slough over recent days.
Thames Valley Police has issued a warning to residents after receiving reports of theives stealing from cars in Cippenham.
Officers are asking neighbours to mindful of what is left inside cars, to prevent vehicles from getting broken into.

Police said: "There has been a rise in the theft from vehicles. We have seen a noticeable increase in Cippenham in particular and Thames Valley Police ask you to think about what you leave in your car.
"Unfortunately cars with items left on display will attract thieves. These crimes frequently net the thieves laptops, other small tech, wallets, bank cards, handbags, phones, money and personal documents. Five minutes now can save a lot of time contacting banks, changing locks, getting documents reissued or replacing data that was on a stolen laptop."
