The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts

April 19

JAHSON DOWNES, 31, of Pell Street, Reading, convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Charvil on March 9, 2019. Fined £825, ordered to pay £150 in compensation and must pay £1,043 in court fees. 
MADHU BAWA, 31, of Copice Road, Reading, admitted drink driving on Basingstoke Road, Reading, on February 22, 2021. Caught with 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Admitted failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates’ Court on March 23, 2021. Fined £300 and made to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for 20 months. 
JAKE BAKER, 18, of Terence Road, Binfield, Bracknell, admitted resisting a police constable in Bracknell on December 5, 2021. Made to pay £107 in court fees. 

April 20

ANTHONY PHIPPS, 42, of Orchard Court, Thatcham, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision appointments in September and October 2017. Fined £50. 
DANIEL SMITH, 39, of Carey Street, Reading, admitted possession of diamorphine, a class A drug;  three counts of interfering with a motor vehicle; assisting in the retention or removal of stolen goods, namely a car key; and being a passenger in a vehicle taken without the consent of its owner in Reading on January 13, 2021. Committed to prison for six months suspended for 12 months. Ordered to take part in up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. 

April 21

RYAN BASDEN, 24, of Litton Road, Reading, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision appointments in November 2021. Ordered to pay costs of £75. 
THOMAS BEDWARD, 31, of Beech Hill Road, Reading, admitted driving without insurance on Basingstoke Road, Reading, on December 14, 2020. Fined £46 and made to pay £119 in court fees. Banned from driving for six months. 

April 22

DAWID CIEGOTURA, 31, of Westfield Road, Caversham, admitted driving without a licence, driving without insurance, drink driving on Western Elms Avenue, Reading, on April 29, 2021. Caught with 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. Fined £300 and made to pay £184. Banned from driving for six months. 
THOMAS CRAWFORD, 43, of Grazely Road, Three Mile Cross, Reading, admitted driving without insurance and driving under the influence of cannabis and cocaine on Martinet Road, Woodley, on February 28, 2020. Banned from driving for 14 months. Fined £500 and made to pay £135 in court fees. 
MAREK DARASZKIEWICZ, 36, of Slough admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision appointments in September and October 2021. Must pay court costs of £75. 
ANTHONY DODD, 35, of Mercian Way, Slough, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision appointments in February 2022. Fined £50 and made to pay 360 in court costs. 
AMIT LAL, 31, of Raleigh Close, Slough, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision appointments in February 2022. Fined £50 and made to pay £60 in court costs.
