A SPANISH restaurant could move into Maidenhead.

El Cerdo is eyeing up a move into unit D in the Waterside Quarter development and will serve up tapas cuisine.

The firm has applied for a new premises license in Maidenhead to play live music Monday to Saturday from 11am to midnight and Sunday from 11am to 11pm.

“Live music may be provided on special occasion, to celebrate birthdays or perhaps Spanish festival or events,” the license application read.

“Due to the small size of the restaurant, entertainment is expected to be played between 19:00hrs and 23.30hrs.”

It also wants to play recorded music from 8am to midnight Monday to Saturday and 9am to 11pm on Sundays.

Alcohol could be supplied on and off the premises 8am to 11:30pm and Sunday from 9am to 10:30pm.
