Two 21-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after police found a ‘large amount’ of cash and cannabis in a car.

The man and woman were questioned on Saturday leading police to a ‘significant quantity’ of cannabis, which the force called a ‘big disruption to criminal activity in the area.’

The money and cannabis was found in the man's vehicle.

The man has been bailed and the woman was released under investigation.

It was the third arrest last week in relation to drug supply offences in the royal borough.
