Outline planning permission with some matters reserved for extension to offices at 17, Bath Road, Slough (P/06033/046).

Owners of the building, Avco Systems Ltd, are proposing to extend their office building in the form of two additional floors, stepping back at each extra level.

Roof terraces are proposed at the fourth and fifth floors and a small low-level side extension to the west for a plant room. There is no change of use as the additional floor area is to be office space.

This will form additional office floor space of 386.9sqm and 36.6sqm at car park level for the plant room.

There is a minor alteration to the car parking but there will be no increase in parking bays. Seven spaces remain in the rearranged basement car park and 30 spaces remain in the external car park.

Before submitting a full planning application, the applicants want to see if the scheme is acceptable to officers.

Developers try again to build new homes on land between 156 And 158 and the rear of 156 To 158 Windsor Road, Maidenhead (21/02841/FULL).

Fresh plans have been submitted to build three detached bungalows on the large gardens after the council and planning inspector refused their previous scheme.

Originally, the applicants wanted to erect two detached four-beds and a pair of three-bed semi-detached homes with parking, private amenity space, and new landscaping.

But the inspector ruled in the council’s favour at an appeal, citing the backland development would “unacceptable harm” the character and appearance of the area and was “not certain” if there was sufficient space for vehicles to be able to pass both along with the access and at the new junction with Windsor Road.

The developers have now reduced the homes’ scale drastically by changing the dwellings into bungalows and have widened the access way for vehicles to get by.

Four new homes could be developed on land west of Braywick Corner, Ascot Road, Maidenhead (21/02723/FULL).

A small plot of land in the town could see three three-bed and one two-bedroom detached homes built if Royal Borough planning officers give the go-ahead.

The site lies to the east of the A330 Ascot Road immediately to the south of the Braywick/Holyport Roundabout

The scheme provides individual amenity space and parking to each new dwelling.

The new buildings shall have brickwork-facing material to respect the context of the site and provide a quality, durable maintenance-free design.
