Slough-born professional footballer Matty Cash could make his debut for Poland in November.

Cash, 24, has reportedly been approached by the Polish FA over switching international allegiances.

The Aston Villa right-back would be eligible to play for Poland through family on his mothers side.

The Daily Mail have reported that Cash may be drafted into the Polish side for next months World Cup qualifiers.

Speaking on the topic last year, the 24-year-old told Sky Sports: "

"My mum is actually half Polish and speaks the language fluently.

"There's been contact with my agent about playing for Poland and it's something that I would look at.

"I just have to keep playing well and keep progressing before I make any decision.

"It's nice to have an option."
