Mass brawl next to Nandos leaves four members of the public injured

A mass brawl involving weapons left four members of the public with injuries after it broke out next to Nandos.

Shortly before 8pm on Sunday, August 1, two groups of people started fighting near Nandos on Slough High Street.

Police said several people involved in the fight had weapons, which were used and left four members of the public sustaining injuries.

Greggs to open a drive-thru in Slough

A Greggs drive-thru is set to open in Slough serving steak bakes and sausage roll goodness to customers.

If you can't get enough of the bakery chain then you'll be able to get your pastry even quicker through this new drive-thru.

The building is located just off of Bath Road near the Westgate Retail Park.

Brand new fried chicken takeaway to open in Slough

A brand new chicken takeaway is set to open in Slough after plans were granted planning permission.

The new restaurant will open following the conversion of the existing shop at 193 Farnham Road.

The site is currently occupied by grocery store Slough Food & Wine.

Fine for man caught gathering outside supermarket during second covid lockdown

A Slough man has been fined for taking part in a gathering during England’s second coronavirus lockdown.

Robert Mazarache, of Tintern Close, was caught outside Chalvey Supermarket on King Edward Street with two or more people on November 7, 2020.

The 28-year-old was present at the gathering ‘without a reasonable excuse’ just two days after England went into its second lockdown as coronavirus cases soared.

Developers eye brownfield site for new housing in Slough

Developers are eyeing an area of brownfield land in Slough for a new housing development. 

A planning application has been submitted to redevelop the existing brownfield site at 155-157 Chalvey Grove in Slough into a total of 16 new residential flats.

The new flats will comprise of five one-bedroom flats, nine two-bedroom flats, and two three-bedroom flats.
