A 'LARGE scale altercation' in Slough, involving up to 30 people reportedly involving weapons including guns, has urged police to appeal for witnesses. 

At around 12.25pm today, July 18, officers attended Wellesley Road, Slough, after reports of an incident were made, including reports of weapons being present.

Five arrests have since been made in connection to the incident. This includes four men and one teenager, arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. All five remain in custody at this time.

Detective Inspector Dean Brown, of Maidenhead police station, said: “I am appealing to the public for witnesses to this incident, which was a large scale altercation which included up to 30 people.

“Officers have made five arrests in connection with it, and a scene watch is now in place while we conduct enquiries in the area.
